Welcome To The Globe Inn.

Thanks for stopping by, we hope you will become regulars at our glorious little pub.

Situated in the seaside village of Lympstone, on the Exe Estuary, some 11 miles from the lovely city of Exeter. The Globe lies in the heart of this picturesque village and is close to railway links, the River Exe and the recently completed "Exe Estuary Cycle Trail". The pub itself has recently undergone refurbishment and a change of ownership, keeping it as a real pub, but giving it a fresh lease of life as a popular venue for everyone.

The new Landlady and Landlord, Angie and Mike, have lived in the village for over five years, being regulars at the "Old Globe", when the chance to take on this little gem came up, they sunk themselves into the project and have refurbished it in a tasteful yet still atmospheric way. With a hint of a "maritime feel" befitting its location. The Globe is the ideal venue for pub lunches, a convivial drink with friends or to catch up on the sporting events showing on the Sky TV. It is a good venue for live music, with local artists performing regularly and also hosts a weekly pub quiz, currently the only one in the village.

The Chef Garry, is very experienced and is hoping to provide a selection of great British dishes along with daily seasonal specials. We hope to keep the menu updated on a regular basis, once the website is re vamped.

Please feel free to browse the site and come back for more news.
